Elementary
Summer Art Camp

Elementary Art Camp: July 17-21, 2023
Valley Christian Church in Chino, CA

Image Bearers Arts Academy is currently working with churches in the Chino Valley to offer summer art camps in June, July, and August of 2023. Our program offers your kids the opportunity to be instructed in many different art forms, including painting, drawing, art design, collage, photography, film, acting, screen acting, musical theatre, and culinary arts—and they'll do it all while learning about how God has made them unique and how to use their uniqueness to love and serve others.  If you would like to enquire about offering a camp at your church, see below.

Visual Arts

Students will have the opportunity to learn drawing, painting, collage, art design, photography, and even Photoshop in our week-long arts-intensive summer camp. From drawing self-portraits, creating silhouette-collages, painting works that can be donated to others, to learning how to support the performing arts through photography, students will discover the world of visual arts and how it can be used to explore the world around them to and bless and love others around us.

Students' works will be presented in an end-of-week gallery for their friends and parents to see.

God Gave Me Unique Abilities

I was Made to Help Others

We aim to help teach kids how God has made us to uniquely serve others through the gifts and talents He has given to each one of us. As we are shaped and made by God (Isaiah 64:8), let us use whatever gift we have received to serve others (1 Peter 4:10).

Performing Arts

Students will have the opportunity to participate in acting, screen acting, and musical theatre classes to learn how to use their body, voice, and movement to be able to communicate ideas and tell life-giving stories.

An end-of-week performance will allow students to demonstrate the skills they have learned by acting in skits, singing and choreography. Our photography students will be showcasing the performing arts classes and photographs will be made available to students at the end of the week as well.

God Gives Us Power

God Made Me to Fight the Good Fight

Not only are we uniquely made to serve others, but we are made for a purpose and given the ability to accomplish that purpose, pursuing righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness (1 Timothy 6:11-12a). We desire to show our kids these truths while pointing them to the creator of the universe and his plan of salvation through Jesus Christ.

Camp Cost

1/2 Day Summer Art Camps in Southern California are often anywhere between $200 and $350 per week. We have worked hard to set the price of our camp to be at the lower end of this price range ($200) so that all kids can be able to attend. We also have sibling discounts and scholarships if your family needs one to be able to attend.

Our $200 week-long camp includes 4 hours of instruction per day (works out to $10 per hour), 3-4 different art projects per day, a end of week camp performance, and an opportunity to learn new art forms and make some great friends along the way!
