Acting

Fridays
4:30pm - 5:30pm

In this class, students will explore various acting techniques and learn what it takes to become a better actor. Students will have the opportunity to learn about acting as well as how to tell a story, develop a character, and how to connect with another person on stage. This will be done through various games and exercises and in-class performances of scenes and monologues!

Beginning Dance

Thursdays 5:30pm - 6:30pm

In this class, students will learn beginning dance terminology and technique and have the opportunity to apply it through individual exercises and group dance routines. Students will also explore effective stretching methods and how to convey emotion through movement. No prior dance experience is needed.

Character Design

Fridays 5:00pm - 6:00pm

Is your student intrigued by characters from Spider-Verse, Pokémon, Disney, Pixar, and more? Through this class we will talk about what makes those characters intriguing and how we can design our own characters in the same way. Students will write and draw their own characters, focusing on how their designs further show their characters’ stories, personalities, and developments. No prior drawing or story writing skills needed. This class pairs well with the Comic Book Creation class.

Choir

Wednesdays 5:30pm - 6:30pm

In this class, students will learn basic vocal technique and music theory and be able to apply it through learning a piece of choral music with their peers. Students will explore melodies and harmonies and gain experience singing in a group with various vocal parts. No prior choral experience is needed.

Comic Book Creation

Fridays 5:30pm - 6:30pm

From the heartwarming story of a
lost dog that was found to the hilarious adventures of the neighborhood kids, there are stories happening all around us! This class will allow students to explore both the written and visual art of storytelling. Students will also get a closer look on how comic books are created and by the end of the class will have created their own mini comic!

Creative Coding

Wednesdays 5:30pm - 6:30pm

Has your student ever wanted to create video games or websites? Through this class, we will introduce students to the basics of computer programming, teaching them how to combine creative and technical skills to create functional games and interfaces. No prior coding experience is needed.

Culinary Arts 1

Wednesdays 3:30pm - 5:00pm

From learning practical skills like chopping and mixing to combining different flavor profiles, this class will allow students to explore the world of culinary arts. There is so much to explore in the world of food and we invite you to join us! Culinary Arts 1 is offered to students from age 6 to 11.

Drawing

Wednesdays

Students will have the opportunity to explore the creativity of God, the world, others, and themselves through learning the foundational principles and techniques of drawing and illustration. This class will guide students in creating a portfolio of work that showcases their own visual journey of self-expression and understanding the world around them. All supplies are included.

Film

Fridays 4:30pm - 5:30pm

Whether you have never tried to make a movie before, but are curious about how it works, or you love to make videos with your friends all the time and want to improve the quality of your films, this class is for you! Learn tips and tricks of the trade from an industry professional. Make short films with your friends and hone your creative voice. This class is offered to students in grades 7th through 12th.

Graphic Design

Fridays 4:00pm - 5:00pm

Students will explore the principles of design and discover how art can be a powerful vessel for communication. This class will give students the ability to visually communicate their own thoughts and ideas as well as understand the design and beauty of the world around them. Students will create a variety of projects that will help them understand the world of design such as logos, words, prints, illustrations, graphics, and more.

Handicrafts

Wednesdays 4:00pm - 5:00pm

Enjoy a variety of artisanal craft making; from wood burning to basket weaving to jewelry making and more! This class will be full of fun projects that will expose children to a wide assortment of decorative craft making.

Musical Theatre

Fridays
5:30pm - 6:30pm

In this class, students will explore various singing, acting and dancing techniques and have the opportunity to practice them together to become well rounded performers. This will be done through scenes, songs and short dance numbers!  In addition to musical theater fundamentals, students will be able to practice teamwork, gain confidence, imagination and creativity, and have FUN through in-class exercises and performance!

Painting (Beginning)

Fridays
3:30pm - 4:30pm

Intro to Painting will teach students the joy of painting with various colors. They will learn how to mix different colors and learn how they interact with each other on the canvas. Students will use acrylic paint to explore these various color
interactions. Join us to explore the beauty of color and paint!

Painting (Int./Adv.)

Fridays
4:30pm - 5:30pm

This class will teach students how to compose
their paintings in various ways. They will learn what it means to make a painting work using both color and form. Students will get to explore composition and how that works when creating a painting. With a blank canvas and a palette of paint students will explore the joy and wonder of painting! All supplies are included. The Int./Adv. Painting class is offered to students in 7th through 12th grades.

Paper Art

Wednesdays 5:00pm - 6:00pm

Students will get to use their hands to craft a variety of art projects centered around the medium of paper, including collage, origami, paper mache, and much more. Through this class, students will get a glimpse of what it means to be created to create, using the very hands that God has gifted us in order to glorify and worship Him. No prior art experience is needed.

SFX Makeup

Fridays 4:00pm-4:30pm

Learn how to simulate realistic wounds, convincing aging, and other worldly features using various makeup techniques. Learn tips and tricks to impress your friends with amazing makeup effects for your costumes, stage plays, and films.

Sewing

Fridays 5:30pm - 6:30pm

Practice using a mechanical sewing machine, and enjoy making a variety of useful projects with the class. Learn how to read simple patterns, make intricate fresh stitch designs, and enjoy craft making all sorts of things like bags, blankets, and pot holders.

Stop Motion

Wednesdays 5:00pm - 6:00pm

Whether this is your first introduction into stop motion animation, or you are looking for ways to improve your stop motion technique to get a more polished product, this class is for you. We will have loads of fun working together to create imaginative stop motion videos.
